The HR Section, De-suung Headquarters, is pleased to announce one vacancy for De-suups (ASSISTANT NETWORKING ADMINISTRATOR) as part of the ICT department at the De-suung Headquarters, Thimphu.

ICT NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR – Terms of Reference

PURPOSE: To facilitate efficient and secure technology solutions, ensure seamless access to digital resources, and establish a technology hub for overseeing information technology matters, including cybersecurity, system integrity, and technology innovation.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

KPA 1: NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT
– Design, implement, and maintain De-suung’s network infrastructure.
– Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
– Ensure network security through firewalls, access controls, and intrusion detection systems.

KPA 2: NETWORK OPTIMIZATION
– Identify opportunities for network optimization and improvement.
– Collaborate with other departments to understand their network requirements and provide solutions.
– Plan for network scalability to accommodate future growth.

KPA 3: TROUBLESHOOTING AND SUPPORT
– Provide technical support to resolve network-related problems.
– Conduct regular network diagnostics and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
– Develop and maintain network documentation, including configurations and diagrams.

KPA 4: SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE
– Enforce network security policies and protocols.
– Regularly update and patch network devices to protect against vulnerabilities.
– Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.

KPA 5: ADDITIONAL DUTIES
– Perform any other tasks or duties as required by the management to support the De-suung
