His Majesty conceived "De-suung For Gyalsung" (DFG) as a national service program in which De-suups, who will be trained by international/regional trainers and skilled workers, will carry out many of the GI-covered construction works. As a result of this training, Bhutan's construction industry will become more professional, the quality will improve, and the mindset of De-suups will change.After DFG, skilled De-suups will have many opportunities, and the construction industry will benefit greatly from the knowledge, expertise, and fresh perspective that these trained De-suups will bring to the industry. Since April 2022, 350 De-suups have been placed at the five sites of the Gyalsung Project as a pilot project. Over the next 18 to 24 months, it is expected that 11,000 De-suups will receive training through the DFG program at the five Gyalsung sites.
