The  three  villages of Khamed, Michigoan and Daragoan under JigmeCholing  Gewog in Sarpang  Dzongkhag will soon have access to sufficient drinking water. This is the second project in the Dzongkhag executed by De-suung National Service Department after Tareythang.

Targetted to benefit 150 Households with an approximated population of more than 700 people, De-suung National Service Department launched the project in collaboration with MoWHS on 24^th  December 2021.

The 4.45 million worth project will be underatken by 50 De-suups with support from RBA and Dzongkhag Adminsitration. De-suups will built 5.3 kms long pipeline network with 2 FCR tanks and 51 water tap stands. The project is expected to complete within three months.

The launching of the project was graced by Dasho  Dzongdag of Sarpang Dzongkhag. Venerable Lam Neten of Sarpang Dratshang and  officials from  Dzongkhag Administration also attended the launch.
