Launch of two new DSPs and Conclusion of the Industrial Automation DSP

𝘿𝙎𝙋 𝘽𝙞𝙘𝙮𝙘𝙡𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙣𝙜
Zimpon Wom Sonam Thinley graced the opening as the Chief Guest. He said, that the DeSuups should enjoy learning this new skill and count their blessings for this opportunity, but more importantly, live up to His Majesty The King’s hope and aspiration for them to find their passion and to become self reliant. Zimpon Wom added that if the DeSuups do well in this DSP, there will be opportunities to explore intermediate and advanced trainings as well. Dasho Tashi Wangyal, Member of DSP Steering Committee also joined the event.
The trainer – Mr. Meesak (Thailand) and Mr. Rangsee (interpreter) will be training the 19 DeSuups and 2 Armed forced personnel in this 1.5 months programme here in Thimphu.

Today, the DSP for Heavy Machineries was launched in Samdrup Jongkhar. The Thrompon graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. 20 DeSuups will be trained for three months by Mr. Dante.

Today’s closing was graced by Dasho Sonam Kinga, Chair of the DSP Steering Committee.
The Industrial Automation programme is the first of it’s kind in the country conducted by DSP. 19 DeSuups trained with Mr. Tan Nee Keng (Singapore) and Ms. Nyan Moe Paing (Myanmar) at the BETA Park for 7 months.
Each Desuup received an internationally recognized FESTO Company certificate along with the DSP Certificate.
