On April 4, 2022, the Wooling Water project under Orong gewog in Samdrup Jongkhar, was inaugurated  after the community proposed it, citing issues with water scarcity brought on by population growth and  persistent drying up of water source. As a result, the project was implemented under RGoB-De-suung National Service partnership water flagship project, which was commissioned on August 31, 2022.

The project will increase the current water supply, which will benefit 80 households with the total population 334.

The project was completed within the stipulated time by engaging 46 De-suups with support from RBA, Dzongkhag Administration and Ministry of Works and Human Settlement.

The commissioning ceremony was graced by the Secretary, National Land Commission and attended by officials from Dzongkhag Administration, De-suung office, RBA, RBP, MoWHS, Gewog Administration and local community.
