Samtengang Central School and Samtengang Primary school of Nyisho gewog under Wangdue phodrang Dzongkhag are the latest beneficiaries of De-suung National Service.

Thirty One De-suups along with two RBA personnels worked for 72 days to bring non stop water supply to the schools.With technical support from MoWHS and Dzongkhag Engineer sector, the De-suups constructed 7.2 km long pipeline, built intake, reservoirs and also maintained the existing water tap stands. The decade long water woe of the schools is now a thing of the past.

His Excellency, the Chairperson of National Council graced the commissioning and formally handed over the project to school on 10th June 2021. It is a proud moment for the De-suups involved in the project.
