Gomphu Water Project-Zhemgang
Gomphu Water Project under Trong Gewog in Zhemgang Dzongkhag is one of the activities under water flagship program and will be executed as RGoB- De-suung partnership. The project will benefit 62 present households and present population of 160 and future population 240. With the estimated cost of Nu 2.5 Million, the project will construct 2 nos of water intake structure, 2 reservoirs of 6000 litres capacities each, 6.4 KM of total pipe line and 16 tap stands.
The project will be inaugurated on 2nd June, 2021 coinciding coronation day of our beloved 4th Druk Gyalpo and is expected to completed in 5 months. 65 De-suups will implement the project with support from RBA, Zhemgang Dzongkhag Engineering Sector as a lead implementer with technical support from Program Management Unit (PMU), WSD, DES, MoWHS.
After completion, the project will be officially handed over to the Dzongkhag and the Gewog for ownership, Operation and Maintenance.
