Horticulture DSP launch, Wangduephodrang

The De-Suung Skilling Program launched the training on Horticulture: Highland Vegetable Production at the National Seed Centre farm Phobjikha, Wangduephodrang. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dasho Nim Dorji, member of the Steering Committee of the DSP.

𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦, 𝘩𝘦 𝘶𝘳𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦”.
The 3 months intensive training program will be conducted by Mr. Micheal Snow and Mr. Tashi Dorji from the Agriculture Research and Development Centre (ARDC) Bajo, Department of Agriculture. The 16 Desuups (8 females & 8 males) will be also be trained in the various methods and technologies on vegetable cultivation in the highlands. The program targets to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of the Desuups to contribute towards nation building in line with the profound vision of His Majesty The King.
𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐨𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐃𝐒𝐏
Today’s closing ceremony was graced by Dasho Tshering Wangchuk and Dr. Tshering Cigay, members of the DSP Steering Committee.
The Robotics programme is the first of its kind in the country conducted by the DSP. 19 DeSuups trained with Mr. Yoon Eng Tong (Singapore) and Mr. Nyan Moe Paing (Myanmar) at the BETA Park for 5 months. Each Desuup received an internationally recognized FESTO Company certificate along with the DSP Certificate.
