Wooling Water Project Launched
Wooling village in Orong Gewog under Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag will soon receive uninterrupted drinking water supply. Close to 80 households in the village will be benefitted by the scheme. Over 50 De-suups with two RBA officials along with an engineer and technician from Samdrup Jongkhar Dzongkhag administration will be engaged in executing the fourth De-suung National Service project in the Dzongkhag. The work is executed in partnership with Ministry of Work and Human Settlement. The ground breaking and Salang Tendrel of the project was initiated on 4th April 2022 and was graced by the officiating Dzongdag, officials from Samdrupjongkhar Dzongkhag and community members also attended the ceremony. The project will kick off from 5th April and is expected to be completed in next three months.
