De-suung in partnership with Ministry of Agriculture and Forests have successfully completed Lingtey Water project in Sangagcholing geog under Samtse. It is the 21st water project completed under RGOB-De-suung Partnership.

Over 71 De-suups with support from RBA and technical support from Samtse Dzongkhag Administration and MoAF worked for past 7 months. The project will irrigate 105 acres of wet land for 54 households. It is expected to enhance the livelihood of the local. De-suups have undertaken the project as a on job training and built two sedimentation dams, one intake and a reservoir along the 2 kms long pipe line.

The completed project was officially handed over to the community and the Dzongkhag administration on 24th March 2022. Dzongkhag administration and community is entrusted for proper management of the completed irrigation scheme. The occasion was graced by Dasho Dzongdag and other officials from the Dzongkhag and gewog Administration.
