Skilling Areas
Initially, the areas as well as diversity of skilling programs have been developed based on a survey conducted among De-suups who indicated a wide range of preferences. These were mapped with opportunities for entrepreneurship and employment in the job market. Since its launch in April 2021, DSP continued to broaden the scope and diversity of skilling areas which have potential to lead to employment, self-employment or entrepreneurship. The 257 programs which have been provided to 5591 De-suups involving 146 foreign and scores of Bhutanese experts as of October 2022, have been categorized into 11 Domains.

The areas of skilling are not be limited to above and can be considered based on their potential for enabling youth to pursue meaningful economic activities.
Medium of Instruction
Generally, courses for DSPs will all be delivered in English. Hence, we expect foreign experts and trainers to have competencies to teach in English.
Allowances
On its part, DSP will offer the following to the foreign trainers and experts.
- Round-trip airfare (economy)
- Insurances for travelling to and from Bhutan
- Monthly training fee (DSP requests experts/trainers to indicate their expectations)
- Lodging/accommodation
- Travel within Bhutan, and
- Cover costs of mandatory quarantine, if any
Formal Engagement
The engagement of foreign experts and trainers will be formalized upon signing a Contract Agreement reflecting the broad terms of engagement mentioned above. Besides the Contract Agreement, trainers will also have the obligation to sign a Code of Conduct for the duration of their engagement.
