Training Design
The following are the types of training-design.
- Short-term training (1-6 months), with greater focus on practical courses, for fresh cohorts of out-of-school youth without prior skills. Duration is not strictly defined and can be adjusted based on training content and module. Experts recommend the training module and learning objectives.
- Some skilling are On-the-Job Training. Youths are engaged in projects ranging from one to five or six months. The training duration is adjusted based on the programs and projects. Experts impart skilling on-site by being with youths at the projects.
- Wherever possible, an intermediate and advanced courses are offered to those who complete basic foundational courses.
- In some cases, trainings are followed by engagement in National Service projects to provide youths with opportunities to experience real-life work environment and challenges and to enhance their skills further and test them in actual projects.
