LAB 4-Samdrup Jongkhar
Water Project for LAP 4 in Samdrup Jongkhar Thromde is the first urban water that will be executed as RGoB- De-suung partnership and is one of the activities under water flagship program.
The water project will benefit about 1005 present population. With the estimated cost of Nu 3.76 Million, the project construct one Reinforced Cement Concrete water reservoirs of 120,000 litre capacity, transmission length of 1.5 Km. The target beneficiary the project are five hotels, one primary school, few shops, factories and two workshops.
The projects will be implemented by 60 De-suups. The launching of the projects will take place in May, 2021 and estimated to be completed in next 4 months.
The projects will be implemented with full technical supervision of Samdrup Jongkhar Thromde Engineering Division and technical support from Program Management Unit (PMU), WSD, DES, MoWHS.
After completion, the projects will be officially handed over to the Thromde for ownership, Operation and Maintenance.
